2)Who is PARTS intended for? What's the purpose? PARTS is intended for use in any EOC or similar environment where resource information, resource provider information, and point of contact information is stored and used to mitigate and manage emergency response activities.
PARTS Basic is ideal for personal use, PARTS Professional for offices of five or less, and PARTS Ultimate for five or more users.
3)What local needs will PARTS address? The basic need addressed is organization of all relevant emergency management data into a single repository. Operationally, PARTS provides a customizable and flexible application to complete resource typing and share that information as needed, when applicable.
4)How do I get PARTS? PARTS Basic is offered free of charge from this website. Simply complete the registration form and proceed to download and install.
5)Is training available? Yes. Training is offered both in public and private settings. Public classes can be found on the training calendar and require an invitation to attend. Private classes can be scheduled Monday - Friday between 10am and 3pm (EST).
6)How many users does PARTS support?
PARTS Basic supports one local user interested in organizing, categorizing, and typing their respective resources in compliance with Federal Standards.
